02/23/2010 I now have 11" by 14" one page flyers for engine gasket sets that include pricing of individual sets within that engine. If you would like me to mail you a copy, let me know by telling me what engine with year/make/cubic inch or by the Best gasket engine set number, using the order request link. I used Microsoft Office Word 2007 to make these up, so have a bit of a problem moving them to my site. I can also email the file as an attachment if you would like and if your computer is compatible. The new brochures are nearly ready for the reproduction Chevy stuff. There were a few things not quite right with the ones I printed out for the Menasha show on the 21st of Feb. , so please check to make sure prices are correct. I am talking to my printer about getting some new ones printed, hopefully this week. (see date above) For a good winter project, see our 1916-36 Chevy page: Clutch discs! Now you can rebuild those old worn out clutches by using a new reproduction disc. Swap meets scheduled so far in 2010: Feb 28 at the Greater Milwaukee Swap http://model-a-wis.com/Swap%20meet%20-10.pdf March 21 Fondy Vintage Auto Club swap meet: http://www.fondyvintageautoclub.com/SwapMeet.html April 24-25 Madison Classics Swap Meet at Jefferson WI: http://www.madisonclassics.com/ July 8-11th Iola Old Car Show and Swap Meet: http://www.iolaoldcarshow.com/index.asp If you would like to come visit at the swap meet and maybe pick up a couple of items, let us know you are coming a few days or a week ahead of time and we'll make sure to pack what you are looking for if we have it. The bigger warehouse in Marshfield (moved at end of June '09).is working out really well. The heater works, so we aren't having to freeze our touches while we are sorting this winter. About 1/2 the books are put into alphabetical piles now, so I know that I've got quite a few boxes of Wagner, AC Delco, Bendix, and other books so far. Only a few of the more rare books, most seem to be in the 70s-90s, but Bob's library is getting better every time we go there.
The 'store' part of this site (shop.marxparts.com) is getting straightened out, but there are quite a few things that need to be rearranged or put on there. Also, I will be publishing this site before I update the prices on the store. I hope this doesn't confuse you too much. So, If you have trouble navigating it, it may be best if you just put in an order request with a phone number to call you at or an email address. This is especially true of international buyers as I have to use the FedEx option to get the international mailing, and have found that USPS international is usually less costly. Bob is also has been able to rebuild/refurbish some of the old fuel pumps that had the older diaphragms but were otherwise new we have as we have almost every diaphragm necessary to get the job done now. Also, he is rebuilding the one barrel carburetors in whatever spare time he manages to find, but I am nowhere getting closer to getting some prices up for that. Ignition page, has a few caps, rotor and points set up for you to browse. Any suggestions or requests, let us know. Contact us and we'll get you a quote within a reasonable amount of time. I've got a tentative page set up with a list for some of the distributor caps that I've found so far in our Marshfield warehouse. I am working on making an interchange list for these along with a description of what they fit, but am not yet finished with it. So far it's just a list with some numbers, but may be useable for you if you know what you're looking for. Just click the link for distributor caps or the link at the online catalog page. We've been selling a number of the rarer ones and some of the numbers may be still up, but no longer here. And it still takes us a while to physically check stock. I thank you for your patience.
